About Marcus Bradley

Marcus Bradley is an author, speaker, coach, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and community advocate from Elgin, Illinois — and a devoted father, son, brother, and family man. A graduate of Elgin High School (Class of 2003), he was raised in a foster family from the age of two and draws on that lived experience to encourage greater understanding between caregivers and children.

He is also a business owner, a teacher and mentor, and a proud advocate and activist for Black and Latino communities — building ventures, coaching young people, and standing up for the families he serves.

His book, Changing the Dynamics Between You and Your Foster Child, invites readers to consider how empathy, communication, and connection can shape family relationships. Through his writing, speaking, and coaching, Marcus shares lessons about resilience, discipline, and personal growth.
